A cheerfully colored (vegetarian) side or main dish
Cut the bell pepper open in such a way that you get a container and a lid. Secure the trays in the frying pan in preparation.
For the filling, cut the mushrooms into pieces, chop the onion and finely chop the sprigs of parsley. Place the frying pan on the heat source over high heat and fry the onion in oil or butter until translucent.
Then add the mushroom and fry it well. Mushrooms lose a lot of moisture and you have to fry this first. Now add the nuts, parsley and crème fraiche.
Stir this well and fill your bell pepper containers. Turn your frying pan low on the heat source. Place the caps of the peppers on the containers and now put the lid on the pan. The frying pan now works as an oven where everything is wonderfully baked together. After half an hour of patience, you can sit at the table.

400 grams of mushrooms
1 large white onion
100 gr cashew nuts
100 gr crème fraiche
Tip: you can make this dish very well in advance and only heat it up when you are going to eat it.
